ABOUT WOMEN WHO LOVE&LEAD

Leadership is Hard. Solopreneurship is Draining.

Leading people and a business is exhausting. Especially, if you’re second guessing your skills and abilities or lacking the support from your company or don’t have a mentor to guide you along with way. Not to mention the highs and lows that come with managing a business, whether it’s your’s or someone else’s. The journey is a beautiful mess that forces you to learn, grow and challenge yourself to be better every day. Even when that day, feels like one of your worst.

Did you know?

Female leaders lack the confidence and support to thrive in the new leadership roles; and are experiencing high rates of burnout, and stress, which are having a negative impact on their performance and overall health and wellbeing.

In addition, women are also significantly underrepresented in leadership roles in the United States. (Netchaeva, Sheppard & Balushkina, 2022). Or are not properly equipped with the leadership competencies to thrive as a new people manager.

Not to mention, Black women business owners are starting businesses at a higher rate than other groups. However, the revenue disparity is substantial between Black women and their counterparts. Source: Forbes
